Yeah? Good. It’s been pretty much two months of neglect. Rather I have nothing to talk about. Oh yeah, got into the spring musical. We’re doing Beauty and the Beast. Like Blair last year, and Churchill this year. Original, I know. So the next three months I’ll pretty much live at school. You guys should come see it. The last two weekends in March, Friday-Sunday at 7:30pm except for Sunday which is probably at 2.
Not too much going on in my life.. I don’t even really know why I’m blogging. I pretty much spent winter break downloading music and sleeping. The day after Christmas my mom took me, her friend and her daughter from Shanghai out to lunch wherein this conversation ensued:

Friend: Yeah, shopping is really expensive in Shanghai. So whenever we want to buy clothes we just fly to the US. But we end up buying things made in China anyway.

Actually, that’s not a conversation. Whatever.
New Year’s Resolution: to not get..dead.

NHD party for reals guys, that 4 day weekend during exam week? /MLK and Inauguration Day.

Election day is TOMORROW.

Before Chinese school:
Dad: Are you getting ready for Chinese school yet?
Me: Unf, fine. Btw, just letting you know that I have about 7 more hours of homework and a huge headache.
Dad: …….I hope this isn’t going to become a habit.
Me: A habit? How the fuck is this my fault? I started doing homework the second I got home from chorus yesterday, until 2am. This morning, I woke up, ate breakfast, and then did homework until now.
Dad: …..Fine, you don’t have to go.

During dinner:
Mom: Have you practiced piano yet today?
Me: Hah, are you kidding? I’ve been doing homework all day.
Mom: That’s no excuse! You still have to make time for piano!
Me: (What the fuck?) Excuse me, what the fuck?
Mom: You should have though about how much homework you had over the weekend when you went out on Friday and Saturday!
Me: Excuse me, what the fuck? First of all, I had chorus on Saturday and I started my homework as soon as I got back. Second, what, do you want me to do homework all day for three consecutive days?
Mom: …

Today I convinced some people in my English class that I was half Vietnamese, half Mexican, and that my dad fought on the side of the Vietnamese during the Vietnam War, that he lost a leg, and is dead.

As some of you may know (aka Bea), I went on a family vacation to L.A. and the Grand Canyon last week. Let me just say, after a couple of hours, the Grand Canyon gets really monotonous, let alone after three days. We got back at around 7:30am on August 26th, aka the first day of school, and I walked in about ten minutes after 3rd period started. And any “travel” is an unexcused absence, motherfuckers. Nevermind that the flight was delayed three times and we left two hours after we were supposed to. That’s obviously my fault, so I get unexcused absences in two classes.

So yeah, I walk into French and Madame Lynch is speaking pretty much entirely in French and I’m really confused because I have no idea what I’m supposed to be doing. So that was a really great first day. /sarcasm I went home and slept until 6pm, having gotten only the four hours on the flight for sleep. And then I woke up and had to do homework. And even now, it’s like the third day of school. Why the fuck do we have so much homework?

Plus I forgot pretty much everything I learned in Algebra II so I have no idea what we’re doing in Precalc right now. And Physics is a whore. (Which, by the way, is apparently “pute” in French. We learned that today.)
